Hello and thank you for visiting my site.  My name is Aaron Smith and I'm a Graphic Designer living in Salt Lake City.  Ever since I was a kid, I've had a passion for creativity and design.  Growing up, I was the 'art kid' and would often spend my free time sketching and drawing. I recently graduated in 2024 with a BFA in Graphic Design at Southern New Hampshire University and am currently working towards advanced certifications in Figma and Adobe After Effects.

In addition to design, I have a solid background in business and leadership.  As a former Air Force Sergeant, I led teams of personnel into active combat zones earning Achievement Medals for leadership and dedication to duty in the process.  After my military service ended, I became a small business owner, running a highly successful salon and spa in New Hampshire for 15 years.  During this time I wore many different hats but my favorite was always Graphic Design.  As the Graphic Designer for my company, I created all of the branding, print and digital assets for the business. 

Those experiences aren't just a part of my past.  They actively inform my design thinking process.  My business background allows me to create designs that are not just aesthetically pleasing, but also aligned with a company's goals and objectives.​

When I am not working at my desk, I'm usually out trail running or hiking in the mountains.  I'm always eager to explore new ideas and connect with like minded folks, whether it's about design, nature or just grabbing a cup of coffee.
